24/7 MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

Monthly Ongoing:

-Minimum 3 month commitment-

Adult Price:

$30 - One time set-up fee (Will apply again if membership is cancelled and restarted)

$80 per month (prorated for first month, charged in full on the first of each subsequent month)

Youth (13-17) Price:

$20 - One time set-up fee (Will apply again if membership is cancelled and restarted)

$65 per month (prorated for first month, charged in full on the first of each subsequent month)

Child (6-12) Price:

No set up fee

$50 per month (prorated for first month, charged in full on the first of each subsequent month)

Children under 6 climb free with Parent’s Membership

Family discount

Requires: Minimum 1 parent/guardian and 1 child/youth. Additional family members can be added. Must be billed to one account.

Discount: $5 off each membership per month.
(i.e. With 4 members, a total of $20 off per month)

PERKS:

  • One Free Friend Intro Pass per month. (Must come during drop-in Hours only, Staff notification prior required, friend must not have previously climbed at the Hangar before)

  • 10% discount on Birthday Parties and Classes

HOW IT WORKS

Additionally we’ll require a credit card for payment, charged on the first of each month $80/mo. With your first month being prorated.

There are security cameras inside the gym and around the building to monitor who comes and goes from the gym.  Only 24/7 Members and staff at the gym have a door access code, and that code is unique to you.  Only members in good standing have access to the gym. Please don’t open the door to anyone wanting to get in; if they are a member they will have a code that works.

24/7 Membership Agreement

By signing up as a 24/7 member at The Hangar Climbing Lounge I agree to and acknowledge the following

  • I am signing up for 3 month minimum 24/7 membership; cancellation prior to 3 months will result in a final charge for the full 3 months

  • Sign up fee is applied every time you re-activate a membership after cancelling

  • Memberships can be paused for 1 month max, or a longer period due to injury, with the agreement of the Hangar management. 

  • You will always check in on arrival and check out when you leave

  • You will not share the door code with anyone else

  • You will not bring guests without permission from The Hangar

  • You will not use Hangar rental shoes or retail product (chalk etc.) without payment

  • You will not allow non-Members or non-paying guests access to the gym

  • You will contribute to keeping the gym clean and organized (equipment put away, chalk spills cleaned up, garbage put in bin)

  • If you open the gate you're responsible for making sure it's closed and locked again

  • You will turn all lights off and make sure the door is locked if you are last to leave

  • If you turn the heating on, turn it off when you leave 

  • You are responsible for your own health and safety while climbing at the Hangar and acknowledge that you have signed and agreed to the Hangar waiver of liability

  • If there are any issues in the gym that need attention please notify the Hangar management by text to 604 200 2623

Disregarding these rules may result in cancellation of membership.


MUSIC

By the office door there is an iPad with Spotify and other radio stations. Please feel free to choose the music afterhours while you’re climbing. Please be mindful of other climbers when choosing your music.

PRIVATE BOOKINGS AND EVENTS

On Saturday mornings from 10am -12pm, or Sunday from 1:30pm - 3:30pm there are private birthday party bookings.   On occasion there will be other events happening at the gym and 24/7 access will be limited during those times.  Please check your emails and read your monthly newsletter carefully to stay up to date on these closures.

EMERGENCY & FIRST AID KIT

In case of emergency there is a telephone located next to the office door at the front of the gym.  Under the receiver is our address and phone number should you need it.

Under the front counter in a basket is the First Aid Kit and ice packs for any minor injuries.

SPINNERS

From time to time a hold becomes loose, we call this a Spinner. Under the front counter is a selection of Alan keys.  Should you find a hold has come loose and needs tightening please feel free to use these Alan keys.

Must be done in writing 15 days before the first of the month. 

Email info@hangarclimbing.com to let us know you would like your EFT membership canceled.

CAN I PAY CASH?

No, the EFT is an automatic payment that is withdrawn off your credit card on the first of each month. We also reserve the right to charge a damages fee for any damages caused or loss incurred by you or your visitors while climbing after hours at The Hangar.
